Urban Meyer interested in working at ESPN
Urban Meyer might be taking his talents to Bristol, Connecticut.
During his joint Outback presser with Penn State head coach Joe Paterno, Meyer said that he could possibly work for ESPN as a college football analyst in 2011.
Meyer served as an in-studio analyst for this year's MAACO Las Vegas Bowl between the Boise State Broncos and the Utah Utes and also tried his hand at broadcasting during 2008 BCS Championship Game between the Ohio State Buckeyes and the LSU Tigers on Fox.
Here's what Meyer said about the possibility of joining ESPN.
"I think so. I took my family up to New York City. That's where they wanted to go. We went and had three of the greatest days we've ever had together, and [ESPN] called and said, 'Why don't you drive up for the day?'
"So I brought my son and he loved it. What I found out is, what a place. Great people."
Will Muschamp could have full staff by Tuesday
According to Florida athletic director Jeremy Foley, Will Muschamp is expected to announce his full staff Tuesday.
Foley has been in constant contact with Muschamp and has said that the Gators' new head coach is busy talking to assistant coaching candidates and recruiting at his home in Austin, Texas.
Also, Muschamp has been consulting with Urban Meyer on his hires, so there will definitely be a touch of Urban on the coaching staff next season.
