Urban Meyer delivered both good news and bad news about the Georgia game Thursday, but fortunately for the Gator Nation, the positive outweighed the negative.
Meyer announced that suspended wide receiver Chris Rainey would play against Georgia and he also said that injured running backs Jeff Demps (foot), Mike Gillislee (ankle), and Emmanuel Moody (thigh) are healing and doing well.
However, Meyer also said that kicker Caleb Sturgis (back) will miss Saturday's contest against the Bulldogs because of a hairline fracture in his vertebrae.
The poor condition of Florida's kicker is especially painful since punter Chas Henry, kicking in Sturgis' absence, has made only two of his five field goal attempts, including two in the three-point loss to Mississippi State.
