The UCF Knights pulled off one of the biggest upsets of the young college basketball season, defeating the No. 18/No. 16 Florida Gators 57-54 in Orlando Wednesday.

However, watching this Florida team, the term "upset" is far from appropriate.

Leading scorer Vernon Macklin (20 points, 10-11 FG) excluded, the Gators shot a putrid 28.2 percent from the field and 15.4 percent from three-point range.

Making matters worse for UF is that UCF trounced the Gators in the battle of benches, outscoring Florida's reserves 18-6.

Marcus Jordan, Michael's son, led the Knights in scoring with 18 points in UCF's upset victory.
