To fill the void left by Al Golden, Temple University has hired Florida offensive coordinator Steve Addazio as their next head coach.

This will be Addazio's second stint as a head coach following his brief term as the Gators' interim coach during Urban Meyer's leave of absence in early 2010.

Addazio has excelled as both an offensive line coach and a great recruiter in his coaching career, but has struggled mightily in two separate turns as the offensive coordinator for Indiana (2002-2004) and Florida (2009-2010).

From what Coach Meyer and Gator players have said about him, Addazio certainly has the leadership skills to run a football program, but how will he fare in game situations?

As the offensive coordinator at Florida, Addazio was often criticized for his inability to adjust and his predictable playcalling.

We'll see how, and to what degree, those flaws will impact Addazio as a head coach.
