Two big players on the Florida Gators Defense could be leaving early to the NFL draft. Janoris Jenkins, being the bigger of the two, according to a source close to him will be entering the draft early. He finished the year with 43 total tackles, 1 sack, and 3 interceptions for 68 yards for a touchdown. He also earned second team All-SEC honors as a cornerback.
Will Hill is the other loss for the Gator defense. He finished the year with 54 total tackles, 1 forced fumble, and 2 interceptions for 102 yards.
Florida has Matt Elam and recent commit Jabari Gorman to fill in as safety. Despite their lack on inexperience, they have potential.
At cornerback, Cody Riggs and Jeremy Brown could fill in for Janoris Jenkins. Again, both players could do well, and have shown glimpses of success, but need to become more consistent.
But there comes a time in every players life where they have to step up, and now is their time, if the speculation turns out to be true.
