Scoot over, Jeff Driskel. Will Muschamp just locked up another quarterback.

Jason Lieser of The Palm Beach Post reports that four-star signal-caller Jacoby Brissett has decided to attend the University of Florida.

"I just had to follow my heart and my heart lied at Florida," Brissett said of his decision to pick the Gators over Miami.

Brissett was originally offered a grayshirt from former Florida head coach Urban Meyer, but scoffed at it, leading many to believe he wouldn't come to Gainesville.

However, Muschamp and new offensive coordinator Charlie Weis decided they wanted Brissett and offered the Dwyer High School quarterback a scholarship.

Brissett has talked about a desire to play both football and basketball in college, so don't be surprised if Billy Donovan decides to meet with him.

Brissett is the 19th player to join Muschamp's inaugural recruiting class.
