With the help of Florida Gators commit Jeff Driskel's feet, Team Click-Clack (Red) defeated Team Micro G (White) 24-22 in Wednesday's Under Armour All-American Game.
Red team kicker Taylor Bertolet kicked the game-winning field goal as time expired, but only did so after given a second chance due to an illegal procedure penalty negating his blocked kick on the previous play.
Driskel, who won the Gatorade and Maxwell Player of the Year Awards, completed two passes in eight attempts for 18 yards and led all rushers with 80 yards on six carries, including a 63-yard touchdown scamper that gave Red the lead in the third quarter.
Future Gators that played with Driskel on the Red team Wednesday were wide receiver Ja'Juan Story (one catch, nine yards) and tight end A.C. Leonard (one tackle and a great block on Driskel's TD run).
Members of Will Muschamp's first recruiting class that played for the White team were cornerback De'Ante "Pop" Saunders (15 punt return yards) and safety Jabari Gorman (two tackles), who announced his decision to go to Florida during the game.
The game's MVP was defensive end Anthony Chickillo (four tackles, 1.5 sacks, fumble recovery), who will make an official visit to Gainesville this weekend.
