According to Only Gators Get Out Alive, true freshman Patric Young will start at center for Florida Gators against the Auburn Tigers tonight.

While Young will be starting in place of senior Vernon Macklin, who is currenly battling strep throat, the Portsmouth, Va. native will be available to come off the bench and play in tonight's game.

Macklin is averaging 10.9 points and 6.4 rebounds per game and is leading the Gator starters with a .563 shooting percentage.

Young, who is averaging 3.4 points and 3.5 rebounds per game, had a career day in Florida's 72-69 loss to South Carolina.

Young scored 12 points and grabbed five rebounds in the home loss to the Gamecocks.

Tonight's game will air live from Auburn, Al. on ESPN at 7:00 tonight.
