As of today, the Palm Beach Post predicted all the upcoming SEC bowl match-ups, with Florida coming up against the University of Miami (FL) in the Chick-fil-A Bowl. Not only could this be an interesting match-up against two Florida teams struggling to play up to par, but it could be a great preview to the last scheduled regular season game between the two schools in 2013.
The last time these two teams played was in 2008, where Florida beat Miami 26-3, mostly pulling away in the fourth quarter. In addition, Randy Shannon grabbed a lot of media attention after the game thanks to his comments regarding Florida's last minute field goal. Therefore, the question is, would Miami have a little bit more motivation to play Florida? Or would the fact that Florida decided to stop scheduling the series with Miami be enough motivation?
Miami leads the all time series 28-26
