The Florida Gators will be missing four starters when they take the field against the Penn State Nittany Lions in the Outback New Year's Day.

The most notable absence will be that of star cornerback and projected NFL Draft first-round pick Janoris Jenkins, who is recovering from right shoulder surgery.

In addition to Jenkins, Florida will also be missing right guard Maurice Hurt (right knee) and defensive tackles Lawrence Marsh (right hip) and Terron Sanders (right shoulder).

The Gators have really struggled to make an impact with their front four defensively this season, so while Jenkins may be the biggest name out, Florida will likely miss Marsh and Sanders the most.

The Outback Bowl will be played on January 1 at 1:00 p.m. on ABC.
