The No. 16/No. 14 Florida Gators took care of business against the Florida Atlantic Owls, winning 79-66 at home Tuesday.

The Gators won the game by winning the battle in the paint, grabbing 44 rebounds compared to just 28 by the Owls.

Florida struggled early out of the gate and took a 34-32 lead into halftime before creating some separation in the second half.

Kenny Boynton led the scoring charge against Florida Atlantic, racking up 21 points.

Alex Tyus added 19 points and seven rebounds and Erving Walker added 14 points, five steals, and six rebounds.

The next time the Gators take the court, it will be in Tallahassee to face Florida State Sunday.
