It seems that every big Florida win this season has followed a familiar formula. A shaky start, a big second-half stretch, a strong finish.

Saturday's victory over No. 24 Vanderbilt in the semifinals of the SEC tournament followed this recipe.

The Gators used a huge second half, led by guards Kenny Boynton and Erving Walker, to beat the Vanderbilt Commodores for the third time this season.

The 77-66 victory for Florida will place them in the final game of the tournament on Sunday against another SEC East foe, Kentucky.

But Saturday, sharp second-half shooting led to a 49-30 advantage and an eleven-point victory.

The Gators were able to take advantage of a miserable day shooting for Vandy, as the 'Dores went 6-33 from long range.

On a side note, Kentucky expects DeAndre Liggins to play tomorrow but lists freshman star Doron Lamb as doubtful, a potential break for Florida.

The game airs at 1 p.m. tomorrow on ABC, hours before the NCAA Tournament bracket is revealed.
