The Florida Gators ended the week on a sour note, barely edging out the Morehead State Eagles 61-55 at the O'Connell Center Sunday.

The Gators led 34-17 at halftime, but were outscored 38-27 and outplayed by the Eagles in the second half.

The star of the game was Morehead State big man Kenneth Faried, who dominated Florida in the paint with 20 points and 18 rebounds.

"If I was an NBA general manager, I'd be taking him with my pick," Gators head coach Billy Donovan said after the game. "That's what a next-level guys looks like."

Erving Walker led all Florida scorers with 16 points and Chandler Parsons registered a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Both the Gators and the Eagles were really off the mark offensively, recording shooting percentages of 38.9 percent and 36.7 percent, respectively.
