It didn't take long for Florida to avenge Saturday's 31-7 loss to Florida State on the gridiron as the basketball Gators took down the 'Noles 55-51 in Tallahassee Sunday.

Led by 14 points from Kenny Boynton, Florida won despite shooting only 38.1 percent from the field because Florida State managed to shoot even worse--33.3 percent.

The big difference fot the Gators in their fifth victory of the season was getting to the foul line.

Florida made 17 of their 25 free throw attempts, outscoring the Seminoles(6-11) by 11 points from the charity stripe.
