In a sometimes sloppy, but overall solid opener, the No. 11/No. 9 Florida Gators took care of business against UNC Wilmington Friday.

The 77-60 victory saw Chandler Parsons lead the scoring with 16 points while Alex Tyus flirted with a double-double, putting up 13 points and grabbing 7 rebounds.

However, the Gators can't celebrate their season-opening win against the Seahawks for long because they have to prepare for a rematch of the 2007 national championship game against the No. 5/No. 4 Ohio State Buckeyes.

The Buckeyes come to Gainesville fresh off a 101-62 drubbing of North Carolina A&T and currently rank second in the nation with 60.0 rebounds per game.

Vernon Macklin, Patric Young and Tyus will certainly have their work cut out for them against Buckeye big men Jared Sullinger and Dallas Lauderdale, who combined for 27 rebounds in Ohio State's season opener.

The Gators and the Buckeyes will tipoff at the O'Connell Center at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday on ESPN.
