Hey, Gator Raiders fans!
With the Orange and Blue Debut set to kick off Saturday, I thought I'd just share some links from around the web that we liked.
Hope you feel the same way about them!
By the way, be sure to plan accordingly for the game tomorrow (sunscreen, sunglasses, drink plenty of water, etc.).
You know how hot it gets during a day in "The Swamp."
With no further ado, here are the links:
- From Mike McCall, who writes on the Gator Clause blog for The Miami Herald: "W2W4 in the Orange and Blue Debut"
- From Robbie Andreu, the Florida Gators football beat writer at The Gainesville Sun: "Spring game storylines"
- From Adam Berry and Anthony Chiang of The Independent Florida Alligator: "Jumpball: Is the Orange and Blue Debut worthy of excitement or cynicism?"
- And last, but not least, is Mike Bianchi's column about Will Muschamp from the Orlando Sentinel: "Will Muschamp became Florida Gators football coach by running down a Gainesville dream"
And that does it. Just three more things to note.
First, as you all probably already know, UF will unveil three statues of Heisman winners Steve Spurrier, Danny Wuerffel, and Tim Tebow at halftime.
(If anybody gets a good picture or video of the unveling, send it in and we'll post in on the website and Twitter!)
Also, be sure to check out the "Gator Walk" out in front of Ben Hill Griffin Stadium starting at 9:30 a.m.
And for those of you who aren't making the trek to Florida Field, the game will be airing on Sun Sports, so you can check out the action from your air-conditioned homes.
Thanks for reading and stay tuned for a special episode of Gator Raiders breaking down the spring game next week!
