It looks like senior Chandler Parsons is ready to get his leg up on the competition.

When talking to the media Wednesday, Florida Gators head coach Billy Donovan said that Parsons will likely play against the Georgia Bulldogs.

However, his minutes will depend on how well his bruised thigh holds up in early action and Parsons will not be starting for the Orange and Blue.

Parsons, who suffered the injury when colliding with teammate Alex Tyus in a 61-60 victory against the Tennessee Volunteers nearly two weeks ago, is averaging 10.8 points and 7.7 rebounds per game.

Freshman Casey Prather will make his second start at the small forward position in place of Parsons when the Gators tip off against the Bulldogs at the O'Connell Center.

The game will begin at 7:00 p.m. and is set to be broadcast on both ESPN2 and ESPN 3D.

The photo above, tweeted by Parsons earlier this week, shows the protective sleeve he has been wearing on his leg.
